Join in

There are many ways to take part at ICF Wageningen. Are you interested in joining any of the activities or groups listed below? Do not hesitate to ask host team to point you to the right contact person during a Sunday service.

Sunday services

On Sundays we come together to worship Jesus, in an English spoken service. There are programmes for children, teenagers, and there is baby care available as well. We meet at 15.30, at Kastanjeweg 2, in Wageningen. During the service there is a time of singing, praying, and preaching. After the service, there is time for coffee, tea, and fellowship.

Prayer meetings

“The Lord is near. Do not be anxious about anything, but in everything, by prayer and petition, with thanksgiving, present your requests to God.” (Phil 4:6). Every Sunday, before the church service starts, we celebrate this truth together. You are very welcome!

Connect groups

Connect Groups are the heart of our community. This is where we meet during the week, enjoy fellowship and grow in faith. Connect Groups are held on Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday evenings in different places. You’re always welcome to visit one of these groups.

Mentorship

Paul writes to the church in Corinth ‘Follow my example, as I follow the example of Christ.’ ICF encourages everyone to spend time with a mentor. A mentor is someone with experience in his/her walk with the Lord. The mentor has a heart for Jesus and for you. The mentor loves to walk and talk with you about things that are on your heart. It is a great way to grow in your walk with the Lord. Please contact us if you are interested.

Students and young adults

Are you a student, or a young adult? If so, you’re welcome to join the monthly YAM activities. Each evening is a whole lot of fun—sometimes we play games, engage in sports, watch a movie, or listen to a speaker to learn about an interesting topic.

Host families

Even though we are a very international community, we also have a number of Dutch families who love to welcome newcomers to the Netherlands. Would you like to learn something of Dutch culture, enjoy a Dutch meal and experience Dutch hospitality? We welcome you to sign up to be invited by one of our host families.

Alpha course

What is Christianity all about? Who is Jesus Christ and why is he important? Can the Bible be trusted and is it at all relevant to life in the 21st century? All these kinds of questions are handled openly and honestly in an Alpha Course. Over the course of 7-8 weeks we handle a number of topics related to Christianity in a relaxed setting of open discussion and sharing a meal together. These courses are held generally about twice a year. We will always let you know when a new course is beginning.
