ICF Wageningen offers a Foundations Course in 2022. Course designed by John Groves (UK) and takes you through the foundations of the Christian faith.
The course will be led by Ed & Margreet van Ouwerkerk with assistance of ICF-leaders.
Why this course?
Why do we offer this course? It’s fundamental to the church to fulfill her purpose, which is to:
- Glorify God (Ephesians 3:21)
- Edify the saints (Ephesians 4:11-16)
- Fulfill the Great Commission (Matthew 28:18-20), which is not redeeming society, but redeeming all individual sinners.
When?
The course will take place between 14 September and 30 November.
The course consists of 10-12 Wednesday evenings from 20:00-22:00, plus an extra voluntary Saturday. The course has 6 units with 5 sessions each. Each unit has an introduction video of approx. 30 minutes. You will get most benefit of this course, if you give priority to those 12 Wednesday evenings. However, you can also choose to attend half of the course.
Where?
Most of the course evenings will be held on-line, using Zoom, giving people access, even when they live at a distance from Wageningen. However, some may be held in-person, to have personal face-to-face interaction. On Saturday November 5 we may practice writing a personal testimony.
