Service of Thanksgiving

Dear brothers and sisters

As has become an ICF tradition, on the last Sunday of this year, we will have a special service of thanksgiving.

Daniel Garcia will lead with a short meditation on Philippians 4:4-8 and thereafter the service will be fully in the hands of the congregation.

What exactly is the idea?

We will build together a symbolic alter of thanksgiving. Everyone who want can come forward bringing something that symbolizes what you are thankful to the Lord for this last year. Maybe that could be a book that touched you in a special way, or the keys to a new home you have been praying for, a picture of a friend who has helped you… whatever you can think of. Be as creative as you can.

Then we take turns laying these things on the “altar” and share in just a couple of minutes how the Lord has blessed you.

Let us encourage one another – testifying to the great and gracious God we serve.

The service will start at the normal time of 10:30.  Hope to see you there.
